About Me

I am David Nguyen, a Fine Arts major and a Digital Communication minor student at the University of Waterloo. My artworks are made from various medium such as, digital, sculpture, screen printing and more. I mainly focus more on sculptural and digital based work within my current practice. As a diaspora artist, I draw inspiration from the everyday Asian household, cultural history, self identity and community experience.

With my current practice, my goal is to help educate others through my exploration of understanding my own culture. I want to keep traditional history alive while inspiring others to delve into their own to build a flourished community.
